Join The Bay Area’s favorite fictional traveling troupe, The Peripatetic Players, as they courageously attempt to enact J.R.R. Tolkien’s Lord of the Rings trilogy all out of suitcases!

Help the Peripatetic Players run from ringwraiths, scintillatingly swordfight, and secretly scarf second breakfasts in this ridiculous romp around Middle Earth at a park near you. This year, the Players fit their entire production into several suitcases — even the smallest bag can change the course of this play!

This “two-part trilogy” is set to run in repertory, with each part set to run about one hour (“a true miracle of thespianism indeed)! Part One will feature the story of The Fellowship of the Ring, and Part Two will feature the stories of both The Two Towers and The Return of the King (see Tour Schedule here).

Bring a blanket and the whole family and enjoy the adventure as it unfolds all around you.

Shows are free and appropriate for audiences of all ages. Donations are gratefully accepted!
